This year marks the 45th anniversary of MND Scotland, and we need your support now more than ever. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to directly supporting those affected by MND as well as investing in research, we rely on fundraised income to continue our work.
Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie, a master baker, cycling enthusiast or simply looking for a unique way to fundraise, we have put together 45 ways for you to get involved this year and help make time count for families affected by motor neuron disease.
7. Set up a 45th anniversary fundraiser on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok
8. Take part in a 45-hour sponsored silence
9. Arrange a music or comedy night, gig or open mic
10. Organise a quiz night with 45 questions
11. Host a charity sports tournament, such as football, golf, bowling, darts
12 . Organise a gaming or livestream event
13. Host a bake sale with a ‘45’ cake theme

16. Organise a workplace dress‑down or themed fundraising day

£10 could help us keep in touch with people with MND, provide information, and even arrange practical support to make living with MND easier.
£50 could help our Advocacy team to resolve issues many people with MND are experiencing, and take stress away from them and their family.
£100 could bolster our efforts to fund world-leading MND clinical trials which aim to develop new treatments to fight back against MND.
