Rob and his lab have received funding from multiple agencies and charities to further their research into MND, looking at changes in proteins and the effect which this has on other cell processes, helping to move our understanding of MND forward.

We have been campaigning alongside the MND Association and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation for the publication of this important trial and are now keen to ensure we understand the implications of the data so we can provide the right information to patients and their families. 

Shining a Spotlight on UK Innovation in MND Research at the BNA Festival of Neuroscience 2025

MND Scotland is proud to be partnering with the MND Association and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to support an exciting symposium today (30 April 2025) at the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) Festival of Neuroscience 2025.

What attendees learned at the Community of Research and lived Experience (CORE) event  

On 3 March 2025, MND Scotland and My Name’s Doddie Foundation welcomed people with and affected by MND from Scotland, and MND researchers from across the UK, to Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh for our inaugural CORE event. It was a wonderful experience which provided a platform for the MND community to come together and share their knowledge, opinions and experience on MND research through our shared goal of a world without MND.
