Choirs with purpose

We are very excited to announce that MND Scotland has been asked to take part in a charity Christmas album, which has the backing of Sir Paul McCartney.

The MND Scotland group will sing alongside choirs like the Missing People Choir, from Britain’s Got Talent, and the Parrs Wood High School choir, who sang alongside Arianna Grande at the One Love concert in Manchester.

The team at James Hawkins Music, who are running the project, were inspired by Lucy Lintott when they watched her recent BBC documentary ‘MND and 22 Year Old Me’. Together with 9 other ‘Choirs with Purpose’ the MND Scotland/Lucy Lintott choir will feature on the charity single ‘We All Stand Together’ and record another song, chosen by Lucy, on the album.

All money raised from the Christmas charity album will be split evenly between the 10 charities taking part.

Now we are looking for people in Scotland who have a close connection to Motor Neurone Disease to join the choir. To register your initial interest and to find out more, please fill in this form.
