5K your way

Join us as we continue our annual MND Scotland Family Fun Run for 2026 in Glasgow, this year it’s a 5k to do your way!

After the success of our Fun Run in 2025 we are returning to Kelvingrove Park on Saturday 5th September.

This year is a special one for MND Scotland as we celebrate our 45th Anniversary and we would love you to join us to make it an occassion for all the family to enjoy.

The stunning 5k route is a 2.5k loop through the historical Kelvingrove Park. Starting at the iconic bandstand, you will cross the River Kelvin and follow the well trodden paths past the stunning Stewart Memorial Fountain and along Kelvin Way to be cheered over the finish line and encouraged to enjoy the family fun of the charity village.

The accessibility of the route allows the opportunity for participants in wheelchairs to join us on the full route, however these are old paths and some uneven ground is to be expected.

It’s an event not to be missed!

Guidance:

• There is no obligation to raise funds at this event, we just want to bring the MND Scotland community together
• All participants under 18  must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who has their own registration
• Under 5’s are free
• The 5k route is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs
• The route is in a public park and will be on paths alongside the general public
• Participants can run, walk or wheel their way through the course
• All finishers will be presented with a finishers medal
• T-shirts are available to purchase at time of registration at a discounted price
• All T-shirts will be dispatched in August

We will provide all the support you need to help you meet and beat your own fundraising goal with our fundraising pack, inc sponsor forms.

Every penny you raise will go towards helping those in Scotland affected by MND.
