Help recognise our MND heroes

Every year we recognise members of the Scottish MND community who have gone above and beyond, and we need you tell us about the amazing people in our community!

If you know someone who should be recognised for the effort they have shown over the years, please let us know who you are nominating and why (200 words max.)

We have two award categories and you can submit as many nominations as you like for each.

The John MacLeod Award is awarded each year to an individual or group who has made an exceptional contribution to the MND community. It could someone who’s helped raise vital awareness, someone who did something extra special in their fundraising efforts, or even someone who has shown great care and consideration to those with MND.

The Carole Ferguson Award recognises Health and Social Care professionals who demonstrate expectional care and support for their MND patient. Those who go above and beyond what is expected of them as a part of their job. If one of the health and social care professionals who look after you or your family member goes that extra mile, please let us know who you are nominating and why (200 words max.)

If you want to find out the winners of the awards and also find out what’s been happening at MND Scotland over the past year, you can join us online for our AGM on Thursday 24th September at 7pm. You can register online here (don’t worry you don’t need to complete the awards section if you’ve already submitted them here!)
