We are rooting for the Scotland team at this summer’s Fifa World Cup. Come on Scotland!
To celebrate, we are thrilled to share that MND Scotland has been selected for not one, not two, but three charity World Cup songs!
The Two Braw Lads, Rodeo Terrorists, and Kelowna Rock Band have generously selected MND Scotland as their chosen charity to benefit from their incredible, dedicated World Cup songs, in support of families affected by motor neuron disease (MND) in Scotland
Whether you’re a football fan, a music lover, or would like to show your support for MND Scotland, you can get involved by:
- Purchasing, downloading, or streaming the songs
- Share the link to download the songs with friends, family, and on social media
- Make an additional donation to MND Scotland
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, between 11 June and 19 July, with a total of 104 matches played in 16 cities. The final will take place on 19 July 2026, at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey.
Scotland Men’s Team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup eight times but has never advanced beyond the group stage. It is an exciting year for Scottish football fans as, after a 28-year absence, Scotland Men’s Team qualified for the 2026 World Cup by defeating Denmark 4-2, marking their first appearance since 1998. Scotland will again meet Morocco and Brazil in the group stages, as they did in 1998, after their first match against Haiti on 14 June.
The Two Braw Lads
Danny Fisher and Dougie Campbell, otherwise known as ‘Two Braw Lads’, are celebrating Scotland’s Football Team qualifying for the Fifa World Cup 2026 with their catchy charity single, “Taking my Granny to Miami”.
All proceeds via Bandcamp downloads will be donated to MND Scotland, Cancer Research and Ardgowan Hospice, Greenock.
Purchase and download the single here.
Rodeo Terrorists
Richard Barclay, the founder of the band Rodeo Terrorists, has a personal connection to motor neuron disease (MND), as his friend, Dave Balfour, lived with the disease. Richard and Dave met whilst studying at West Lothian College, where they both shared a passion for alternative music. In tribute to his friend, and in support of other families affected by MND, Richard has written an alternative football anthem “Saltire Tartan Army” to help raise funds for MND Scotland.

Kelowna Rock Band
Kelowna Rock Band has released their incredible anthem for the Scotland World Cup, “Faith in the Gaffer” – with all profits from downloads going directly to MND Scotland to make time count for families affected by motor neuron disease (MND) across Scotland.
The song is available for just £1.67 and can be downloaded here.
The first Scotland match is on Sunday, 14 June 2026, at 2am, where Scotland will play against Haiti.
MND Scotland would like to thank The Two Braw Lads, Rodeo Terrorists, and Kelowna Rock Band for their support, and we wish the Scotland Men’s Football Team the very best of luck in the FIFA World Cup 2026!
