Christmas Campaign 2024

Help us be the rock for families like Mark’s this Christmas.

This festive season, Mark Ferguson has bravely shared the reality of living with MND at Christmas.

Mark is 45 and was diagnosed with MND two years ago. He lives in Aberdeen with his wife, Lucy, and has four children.

Christmas is Mark’s favourite time of the year but it will be a lot different this year. Due to his MND, Mark is now sleeping downstairs where the Christmas tree would be. Mark loves Christmas dinner but is not sure what he will be able to eat.

Mark tells us how MND Scotland has had his family’s back this year, helping with practical, financial and emotional support.

Help us be the rock for families like Mark’s this Christmas and beyond by donating today.

This Christmas, hundreds of families across Scotland are counting on MND Scotland. Your gift can help create lasting memories for those affected by motor neuron disease. Please donate today and bring hope to those who need it most. Together, we can make time count.

Remember a loved one this Christmas

To honour those we have lost, we are introducing something new this year: an online dedication page.

This will be a special space where you can share pictures and meaningful messages for your loved ones who are no longer with us. It will serve as a cherished memorial, allowing us to hold onto those precious memories together.

Show your support this Christmas

This December, we are challenging supporters to take on a cold-water dip, ice bucket or cold shower for 12 days and help to fund ground-breaking MND research and make time count for those affected by motor neuron disease. Whether it’s an icy water bucket or a chilly shower, every dip counts!

There are lots of ways to get involved and support our cause. Once you reach £100 in donations you will receive an MND Scotland beanie hat to help take the chill off. Throughout December, you can help us make time count for those affected by MND in Scotland.

Visit the 12 Dips of Christmas event page for more details on how to sign up.

If cold dips is not your thing, you can also support MND Scotland by buying Christmas cards or raise funds for free when you shop online this Christmas via Give as you Live Online.

From Christmas cards, money wallets, and wrapping paper, we have everything you need to send warm wishes to loved ones, friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues this festive season. Visit our shop to see the full range
